I saw this on a hike one day and got down as close as I could with my kit lens. The colors are almost mesmerizing.
Beautiful. I love flower closeups.
Yes they are. That’s an incredible image!
Thank you Sarah. I hope you’re finding more time to shoot these days.
That’s where I’ve been hiding 🙂
David, what was the name of the template you were using for your portfolio website? I think you just changed it? If so, it was the one before the latest……thank youuuuu
I noticed you were MIA. The them on davidpasillas.com? I haven’t changed it in a long time. http://themeforest.net/item/anthology-premium-elegant-wordpress-theme/131771
Ahhhh,, ok, Any problems with it? Thank you, sir.
Nope. It was a nightmare to me when I was using the HTML version, but wordpress is so much easier.
Thank you David. I may copy you by using that one, we’ll see 🙂
There are lots of ways to vary the color scheme and texture.
Great colors — have you tried using macro extension tubes? Let’s you get closer (if that is what you would like).
No I haven’t. I wish I could afford a real macro lens. Maybe I’ll rent one this summer just for fun.
I went the tube route because I can justify a real macro lens — just recently got them for under a $100 at Amazon. Seems to be a good workaround — looking forward to using them more.
Thats a reasonable price. I’ll have to look into tubes and see how they compare to lenses.
Wow…incredible shot David.
